furniture....happy day! :)

Okay, so I am just so excited at the moment. I can't contain my excitement and I'm the only one home so I decided to blog about it.  Since we got married in may we have been without bedroom furniture (Dresser, nightstand, etc.). I currently have a big pile of clothes on the floor that I have no where to put away. But those days are over! :)

For our wedding, my parents gift to us was some money to spend on getting a bed and bedroom furniture.  We bought a mattress and box spring set a few days after we got home from our honeymoon.  Since then we have been searching and trying to decide what other furniture to get... while getting a good deal at the same time.  We were really close to buying some furniture from IKEA. But this afternoon I started reading reviews on the bed frame we were looking at and apparently people have been having problems with their mattresses falling through.... yeah we probably don't want that. Plus, we would be spending quite a bit more than we would like.

So, I started searching for furniture on KSL.com.  I immediately came across the the cutest dressers and nightstand that would go PERFECT in our room with the cute quilt that my mom made for our bed.  They are refinished and painted a light turquoise color called "tidewater blue". They are SO cute. :) I also found a great deal on a new bed frame that will go with everything great! When Ryan got home from work, laughed at my giddiness, and approved of the furniture, I called to see if it was still available. After a few hours of trying several times, she finally called me back and we got 'em! We're going to pick them up tomorrow, wahoo! (I'm a little excited in case you couldn't tell). So here are pictures of all of the furniture we're getting...

The Dresser - $165 (Most expensive thing we're getting)

Another dresser type thing - $50

It was advertised as a changing table. So when that time of life comes this will work GREAT for that. But for now it will be great to store other things. :)

The Bed - $140

...Okay, now I need to go clean up the mess in the bedroom so there's 

actually room to move them in tomorrow...
