Abby Shawcroft

Abby Shawcroft is currently seeking enthusiastic piano students to build up her private piano teaching studio.  She is a very experienced pianist and teacher and is excited to teach any that are interested!

·        Weekly half-hour lessons taught privately in my home in Provo

·        Tuition rates - $12.50/lesson ($50/month) payable at the beginning of each month

·        Recitals will be held twice a year, giving students the opportunity to perform for friends and family

·        Lessons include theory, technique, and sight-reading instruction

·        All who are interested are welcome – children or adults, experience or no experience

About Abby

·        A very experienced pianist who loves music, loves sharing her talent with 

     others, and loves teaching others to love music as she does

·        21 years old; has been playing the piano since she was 5 years old

·        5 years piano teaching experience

·        Studied piano with Dr. Scott Holden(BYU) – 2007 to 2008

·        Studied piano with Dr. Bonnie Winterton (University of Utah) – 2000 to 2007

·        Graduating from BYU in April 2011 with a minor in Music and a Bachelors degree in Family Life: Human Development emphasis

·        Has taken college courses on Child Development and has extensive experience teaching and caring for children
