May: Rooftop Concert, 2 Year Anniversary and Mother's Day

At the beginning of May we went to a FREE Peter Breinholt rooftop concert in Provo. We made it a double date and went with Ryan's aunt and uncle! We had such a good time. At first we were sitting pretty far to the back and couldn't really see anything - but soon Dave and Harriet showed us how to have a good time and we all went up right by the stage. It was a beautiful night and I loved standing there listening to the music in my hubby's arms. :)

On May 12th we celebrated our 2 year anniversary... It's crazy how fast the time flies! I feel so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man. Ryan is my best friend and I couldn't ask for anyone better to spend my every day with!

We started out our day by going to the broadcast of the new Provo City Center Temple groundbreaking. On our way out the door there was a huge hot air balloon right above our house. I teased Ryan and said he shouldn't have gotten a hot air balloon for our anniversary. haha :) The groundbreaking was an awesome event to watch and so fun to be a part of. The new temple is only about 5 blocks from our apartment! Too bad we won't be in Provo anymore when it's finally finished. :(

After the groundbreaking we went to Kneaders for breakfast. Yum! After coming home we exchanged gifts. I got Ryan a charcoal grill and he got me a bunch of smelly good stuff from Victoria's Secret.

We had a whole free day ahead of us so we headed up to Park City for the day. We just had fun walking around and eating delicious food at Baja Cantina. Sadly, we only took one picture while we were there for the day. We took this picture in honor of my parents in Siberia. :)

We had such a fun day just spending time together. I love my sweet, handsome husband so much!

The next day was Mother's Day. (Which I guess means that next year our anniversary will also fall on Mother's Day!) Our day was filled with...

Skyping with my little Bro on his mission in Mexico....
Miss him.

Visiting my dear Grandma Glenn  - which would be the last Mother's Day to
celebrate with her here in this life...
Miss her.
